From Appointment Setter, to Business Owner, to Prospecting Coach.
Seventeen years ago, I applied for a position as an “Appointment Setter” fresh out of college. My job? Cold-calling businesses and convincing them to meet with our sales team. In just 8 months, I booked more appointments and closed more sales than my colleagues who had been there for years. That success—and some pretty impressive commission checks—lit a fire in me. I became hooked on mastering the art of prospecting.
Over the next decade, my career took some exciting turns. I moved to NYC, became an independent contractor, and consistently “opened doors” for the companies I worked with. Along the way, I built a $3 million pipeline and closed a $1.5 million deal that’s still generating profits to this day. I also expanded my skills to include copywriting, content creation, and business development, which eventually led me to launch my own company.
Then came the pandemic…
I soon found myself inundated with businesses needing my help, but I simply didn’t have the bandwidth to serve them all. That’s when I pivoted to consulting, and from that, My Prospecting Coach was born.
